Even though there is snow on the ground, today is opening date for the Winona Horse Trials and it's time to start lining up volunteers for not only Winona but all the other competitions scheduled at Stone Gate Farm this year.
We appreciate all the volunteers who donate their time and 'know how' to
help make each event successful. It would be impossible to run these
events without volunteers.
Some of our volunteers help several times a year; others are available
only once or twice a year. Whatever your schedule, we are happy to work
with you. In appreciation for your time and talents, volunteers
receive a Stone Gate Farm bucks good for any of the SGF services
(schooling, stabling, lessons, clinics, shows, or apparel).
If you like to spend time outdoors in a relaxed and wholesome
atmosphere, we invite you to join our volunteer list. Horse or riding
knowledge is not required; give us an idea of your skills and we'll
place you in an appropriate job.
The recognized Horse Trials will run the Dressage and Show Jumping and
the Starter cross country on Sat. The remaining divisions will run
cross country on Sun.
